1.Glam Up With Glitter
The love of shimmer just keeps on shining as Practically every designer at the SS17 shows drizzled their runway models in glitter. We saw a hint of the eighties toward the end of last year, and this spring/summer is no different. Think bigger and brighter, with glitter coating the lower lids, and anywhere else you choose.
2.Colour-Pop And Metallic Eyeshadow
Metallic eye makeup is going to be huge this spring/summer; failing that, bright and colourful lids will do. However, if this is all too much, the currently popular peach shade will remain so throughout the warmer seasons.
3.Gloss It Up
Whether you want to apply gloss to clean lips, or revive your youthful complexion by adding it to your cheeks – the glossy sheen is a favourite trend for SS17.
4.Smudge
Makeup precision and perfection is so yesterday – this spring/summer it’s all about smudging on the shadow and lipstick. We think everyone will agree this is a great trend for all party goers out there.
5.Plaits
There’s a reason plaits continue to rule the beauty trends – they’re so pretty! This year having one or two micro-plaits in loose hair will be the go-to style for many.
6.Lipstick Blush
This year, don’t worry too much about running out of blush. Choose your brightest pink or red lipstick and apply to the cheeks as blush. From warm shades to a vibrant MAC, lipstick as blusher was a hit on the SS17 runway shows.
7.Clean And Clear
If the bold makeup isn’t your thing, all is not lost; the no makeup look is still a massive beauty trend. We have to admit, there really is something totally liberating in leaving the house not giving a damn.
8.Straight Or Crimped?
Jennifer Anniston did this look better than anyone, and now we are seeing a repeat performance from Gigi Hadid. If you want a change from this and are feeling daring, the crimped hair style is back in town.
