With over 72,000 people including celebrities in attendance at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, it was an incredible lineup of performances and commercials, honestly, whether you were a New England Patriots fan or an Atlanta Falcons fan the big game brought plenty of excitement.
We look at some of our favourite moments below.
For those of you that may not know this, the Super Bowl is an annual championship game of the National Football League, the highest level of professional American football in the world. And on Sunday Super Bowl 51, New England Patriots beat Atlanta Falcons 34-28.
Hamilton’s Schuyler Sisters’ Performance: Phillipa Soo, Rene Elise Goldsberry and Jasmine Cephas Jones of the play’s original cast surprised everyone with their incredible performance of “America the Beautiful.”
The trio sang in harmony, cappella style, their vocals were on point and were highly recognized by a massive round of applause. But the moment that really had everyone talking? When they added “and sisterhood” to the lines, “God shed his grace on thee/ And crown thy good with brotherhood/ From sea to shining sea.”

AirBnB’s “We Accept” Commercial brought one of the most discussed commercials of the Super Bowl. Honoring their message of acceptance and a “world where anyone can belong,” the commercial shared visuals of all different people and races, beliefs and backgrounds with a message that read: “We believe no matter who you are, where you’re from, who you love or who you worship, we all belong. the world is more beautiful the more you accept.”
Lady Gaga’s Halftime Show got everyone talking, Mother Monster’s insane halftime performance was said to be one of the best halftime shows in the history of Super Bowl.
And Super Bowl victory, the big win, The New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady shared the incredible moment with his wife Gisele Bündchen, and their three kids, Vivian, John and Benjamin.
