Khloe Kardashian withdraws court papers and calls off divorce case with Lamar Odom so as to support him on his way to recovery after the sex and drug activities that had him hospitalized. According to TMZ, 31-year-old Khloe Kardashian and the 35-year-old former NBA player Lamar Odom have jointly gone to court to call off their divorce as they want to remain husband and wife, to be honest they were still legally married as the divorce papers never got signed by the judge. Khloe’s lawyer Laura Wasser went before the judge Wednesday morning to withdraw the papers they both signed to end their marriage. The pair are still legally married and as the file has been waiting to be processed and signed by a judge for a while now. The judge granted Laura’s reequest and the divorce case is now over.
On Oct. 13. Odom suffered drug overdose and was in coma, Khloe rushed to her husband’s side at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. Lamar is currently recovering; however, he will need “a lot” of rehab to keep him going the next few months and he is also being treated for aspiration pneumonia.
In December 2013, Khloe filed for divorce and now due to the incident that put Lamar in coma may have just saved their marriage, maybe for good this time? or is Khloe just feeling sorry for Lamar?!
E! News reported that “Khloe privately vowed to be by Lamar’s side during his recovery”, which will take months, and just few days ago they both decided to give their marriage a second chance. They both signed the document Wasser presented to the judge, asking that the divorce case be dismissed. A source added, “Khloé thinks this was the right thing to do right now.”
