Grammy award-winning singer, Janet Jackson gave birth to her first child with Wissam Al Mana, a baby boy named Eissa Al Manna, yesterday Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017.
“Janet had a stress free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably,” a statement read from a source.
Jackson is definitely one lucky woman as she got to marry Al Mana, a Qatari billionaire and businessman. Janet married her husband in 2012 in front of family and friends.
The exciting baby news came after the 49-year-old singer who turned 50 on May 16 announced she will be postponing her tour to start a family with husband Wissam Al Mana. “We’re in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change,” Jackson explained in a video posted to Twitter on April 6. “I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.”In a recent interview with People magazine, however, she acknowledged how thrilled she was for her little bundle of joy by saying, “We thank God for our blessing.”
A source revealed to E! News in late September that “Janet isn’t feeling that great. She has gained more weight than she anticipated. It hasn’t been the easiest pregnancy at all.
There’s an upside though, as source added, “She is excited to have her baby, and that’s the light at the end of this tunnel.” Additionally, Janet’s “husband, family and friends have been very helpful during her pregnancy.” E!
Congrats to the Queen of pop and her husband!
