The 27-year-old singer married her fiance Dalton Gomez on May 15th in a small and intimate ceremony at Ariana Grande’s home in Montecito, California. Although with billions of fans, it is mind blowing she was able to keep such an astonishing secret. Here’s how she pulled it off!
Ari’s dream wedding
Ariana Grande wedded her prince charming in her home; surrounded by only 20 people but with a ceremony that emanated love and happiness. The singer had confirmed to PEOPLE the following Monday that she had decided to tie the knot with lover boy Dalton Gomez. Despite originally planning a ‘big wedding’, the two kept the union a secret from Grande’s fans, much to their surprise.
The singer was happy that she was able to “pull it off quietly” continued the source, affirming that Grande had no regrets moving up the wedding. Due to COVID19 restrictions, Grande decided to take a chance on her happiness. Rather than wait for a huge public wedding she decided a secret wedding in her fairytale-esque home would be a beautiful compromise.
Dalton Gomez is a hardworking “low-key” guy – meaning the decision to keep it intimate is perhaps Ariana Grande’s way of respecting her fiance’s wishes and/or lifestyle. Their love for each other clearly bloomed living together in quarantine, which led to their sealed heartfelt vows. The pair could not wait to say their ‘I dos’ in front of close friends and family. After many heartaches, it seems Ariana Grande has finally found someone that she can share her happy ending. If this heartwarming union doesn’t give you hope for the future I don’t know what will.
