Gucci The current ‘It’ Brand of 2017

A lover of the trend, yet we fear athleisure has run its course, hence why we are seeing a new love affair with the dress – the easiest and simple way of getting ready; slip on one item of clothing and you are off out the door in a jiffy.

Each season comes with new trends, some we love like the Gucci Princetown slippers. While some not so much like Alexander McQueen crocs. A trend that is featuring quite heavily at the moment is embroidery, the boho chic look, a style I am in LOVE with.

Fashion houses line the way for the coming season and for high street designers. Gucci has certainly paved the way and is currently winning the race with the “cool-girl” label. The brand has upturned the fashion industry as a whole. Monogram logos and statement prints on almost everything. However, replicas of Gucci’s triumph can be seen aplenty.

Gucci resurrected some long lost favourites; embroidery with florals sat closely behind the statement prints. These trends are welcomed after the huge inpouring of the sports luxe craze.

The SS17 Campaign combines a juxtaposition of old as well as new. With plenty of fashionistas falling at his fur lined loafers, each piece is an investment and will be taking pride of place in your wardrobe for years to come #retro
