It has been said that Cheryl and her french beau Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini are going to divorce and the rumours about this have been circulating in the press. There have been no recent public sightings of the two together and the absence of Chezza’s wedding band has not gone unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans. Although, it has been reported by The Sun that Jean is doing everything to try and woo the X Factor judge back. This is not a surprise because Cheryl is quite a catch and not only that, they look perfect together.
Apparently he has said that he has been smothering her with gifts of flowers, chocolate and jewellery in a bid to show that he still loves her. The pair are said to still be very much a couple, despite rumours that she’s begun formal legal proceedings to end their 19 month marriage.
However, the comeback of Craig David was reported by The SUN that the musical pair met after he helped Reggie N Bollie out in their duet on the final of the X Factor. Apparently he’s helping her get over her split from her estranged husband, and according to a source there’s now “something special” between them.
An insider allegedly said: “The atmosphere was electric when they met on the X Factor set. Cheryl has needed fun and friendship in recent months and Craig has given her that. They speak a lot and there is something special between them. Watch this space.”
The reported added, “If she were to become single again, I personally love the idea of a Chezza-Craig mash up musically and romantically. They could be Britain’s answer to Beyonce/Jay-Z”.
However, Cheryl’s reps have been quick to pour water on our fire of dreams . They told the Metro that their communication started and ended on the night of the X Factor finals. They didn’t even make it to the drinks on Tuesday, and they met on a Saturday which totally messes up the whole premise of the 7 Days chorus so the relationship was doomed from the start really.
This means that Cheryl and Jean can work things out better without anyone in the way. In the midst of all this chaos, let’s hope Cheryl can find happiness. Well she is fresh from a vacation in Barbados for bessie Kimberley Walsh’s nuptials to long term partner Justin Scott.
