Three weeks after Beyoncè’s big announcement that she is pregnant with twins, the Lemonade singer pulls out of her scheduled headline performance at Coachella Festival this April 2017.
“Following advice of doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule, Beyoncè has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival,” a statement said this morning. “However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”
Queen B revealed her big news that she and husband Jay Z are expecting two new additional arrivals to the family this year on her Instagram account earlier this month, days after she publicly debuting her baby bump via a photoshoot and also during a performance at the Grammys.
“We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over,” she captioned a picture showing her bump. “We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.”
It has not been announced who will take her place as this year’s headline act at the California festival but we are sure it’d be someone just as awesome as Queen B as the event always attracts a star-studded crowd.
