It’s fashion week and we have seen some beautiful trends that are already resonating in the high street stores. Although glam rock quietened down, it is now back in full force, as demonstrated by Burberry and Henry Holland, who presented us with bold colours, prints, trench coats, and those unforgettable bell-bottom flares. Additionally, Vivienne Westwood showed us beautiful prints and tailored jackets, whilst Amelia Wicks, Tata Naka and Jasper Conrad were rocking the vertical striped theme. Not only this, fashion week has so far been flooded with lace and leather, making the trends huge for the rest of the year.
With all this in mind, we have compiled a gorgeous collection of fashion week-inspired outfits available on the high street. We guarantee you will love these looks.
1.Leather Trench Coat, Miss Selfridge, £175
This week we’ve seen a gorgeous collection of leather attire from Mulberry. High street stores such as Miss Selfridge have tailored to our every fashion need, and with no exception when it comes to leather. This leather trench coat, although a little pricey at £175, is a real statement piece that emulates pure inspirational beauty straight from the catwalk. The leather trench is unlike conventional leather pieces, in that it is unbelievably soft, therefore oh so easy to wear. Add this to jeans and a plain top to create classy style in a second.
2.Premium Lace Bodycon Dress, Topshop, £115
This year it’s all about the lace, which is a fabulous material, immediately transforming our overall look into one that is sexy-chic. Check out Topshop’s ultra pretty lace bodycon. Beautifully fitted with amazing detail throughout, this dress oozes sheer elegance and style.
3.Glamorous Tall Denim Bell Bottom Flare, Asos, £12
Who can resist a touch of glam rock in their wardrobe? With a big chunk of this year’s fashion focusing on seventies, now you can recreate the look, whilst seeing a return on your money. These awesome denim bell bottoms from Asos are a steal at £12, reduced from £40. This style is super flattering as well as being incredibly comfortable. Keep to the seventies vibe by pairing with a floaty top, slim scarf, and of course, some cool platforms.
