The 2021 Emmy Awards took place in Los Angeles last night. TV’s biggest event of the year marks its 73rd year and this year was hosted by Cedric the Entertainer. With incredible nominations and wins; it was surely a stellar event. From star presenters such as; Jennifer Coolidge, Sarah Paulson, Seth Rogen and Angela Bassett – to our favourite celebrities in their brilliant ensembles on the red carpet.
The Emmys was a virtual show last year due to the pandemic, but came back in full force this year. From Gillian Anderson winning Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for The Crown to Michaela making history as the first black woman to win Outstanding Writing For A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie for I May Destroy You. Furthermore, we had incredible looks from the likes of Angela Bassett in fabulously detailed Greta Constantine gown to Yara Shahidi dunning a brilliant emerald green dress by Dior.
