The remarkable festival is this May’s go-to event of which promises to be a great day out for the entire family.
The floral festival will coincide with the Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show in central London.
This year’s Belgravia in Bloom festival will offer incredible installations and spectacular floral displays, as well as the inclusion of many events of which will focus on the new theme, children’s books.
Businesses and residents in Belgravia will take part in the event by decorating shop fronts, doors and windows with floral displays. Inspiration will come from classic children’s books such as Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The result will be breath-taking floral walkways, and events in every direction.
Many retailers will take part in the festival. Retailer Rococo Chocolate has signed up to create a display in their store, taking inspiration from the much-loved book, James and the Giant Peach. Additionally, the Halkin hotel’s display will focus on The Adventures of Paddington Bear. Furthermore, childrenswear boutique, La Stupenderia are to host younger Belgravia in Bloom guests a children’s book reading, commencing each day at 4pm.
