What do we know about Anna Wintour

We all know Anna Wintour is the queen of Vogue, but other than that what else do we know. We delve into the secret life of British editor in chief of American Vogue.

This one is not much of a secret but when Lauren Weisberger released the bestseller. The Devil Wears Prada. It was no surprise the novel was based on Wintour, known as “Nuclear Wintour” for her frosty unapproachable demeanour. Yes the novel is a fictional tale, but we all love a good novel, with elements of the truth. When Wintour was questioned about the novel she casually commented that Lauren had been her assistant and may have picked up a few things along the way. Let’s be honest who is better to know the truth than her former PA.

In fact according to her biographer Jerry Oppenheimer her sunglasses are in fact corrective lenses, as she suffers from a deteriorating eye condition inherited from her father. There was us thinking, she was shielding us from her dark menace.
