While we are all doing our part to practice social distancing and self-isolation. It’s #SelfCareSunday and time to brush up on our beauty treatments.
Every Sunday as promised I’ll be delivering beauty and wellness tips to help us get by. So here are 5 ways to create at-home beauty treatment and spa night from the comfort of your home. And don’t forget to let me know your favourite treatment and suggestions in the comment box below.
Hair Mask
Your hair is just as important as your face. During this uncertain period, it’s very essential to take extra care of our hair. Keeping it clean and tidy. A good deep conditioning treatment or mask will go a long way while self-isolating. Just like face masks, you can also create your own hair mask with natural ingredients. However, I’m currently using Shea Moisture Masque and also love Philip Kingsley for deep conditioning.
Facial Massage
This is one of my favourite treatment and one of the best ways to lift and tone your face and neck. Facial massage can help improve the appearance of skin, improve circulation, relax muscles, as well as tone. I’m no pro at this but I usually include a refreshing face oil or sheet mask while I’m at it.
Body Scrub
Its time to scrub away dead skin cells and impurities. Exfoliating dead skin cells leaves you feeling fresh with rejuvenated skin. Currently loving Tropic’s body polish. This revitalising body exfoliator is packed with nourishing oils and mineral-rich sea salts that buff away dead skin cells leaving skin smooth and soft.
Nails
Why not treat yourself to an at-home beauty manicure and pedicure. I am currently using nail polishes that are non-toxic and experimenting with beautiful colours from Mavala Delicate Nail Varnish collection.
Lip Scrub
Just like ashy skin, no one likes chapped lips, so why not treat yourself to some lip scrub. L’occitane Marmalade Kiss Delicious Lip Scrub is so refreshing and perfect for instant softness as well as smoothness. You can also create yours at home.
